Queen of Peace Catholic School shares the mission of our Parish to provide students with a Christ-Centered Catholic education that focuses on spiritual formation, academic excellence, and the fostering of individual gifts to better serve our community.
Inspired by our Catholic faith, the Queen of Peace family aims to provide all students with
the opportunity to reach their full potential in academic achievement, faith development, and community service.
Various sacramental preparations are offered to our students throughout the academic year. Non-Catholic students also participate in sacramental preparation along with their classmates. Although they do not take part in the sacrament itself, they have also made a special journey with their classmates and are encouraged to attend the sacramental services to share in the community celebration.
First Reconciliation
During the academic year, students in 2nd grade are prepared to make their First Reconciliation.
First Communion
During the Easter season, students in 2nd grade receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist.
Confirmation
At the end of their 8th grade year, students at Queen of Peace are confirmed by the Bishop at a special Mass for them.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Children
Children seeking to be baptized or received into the Catholic Church will attend the fall and spring semesters of the RCIA program. Their journey of faith culminates in the beautiful Easter Vigil Mass, when they are invited fully into the life and faith of the Church.
Along with the Sacramental Preparation, the following are included in our
